Ain't Nobody's Problem.

Tartan taste.

I remember when I had a crush for these pants in H&M, during a rare shopping expedition with my friends. I tried it without any conviction, but I was gladly surprised by the effect it gives, and, strangely, my friends also. Because it's true, our tastes are the total opposites : it would be like comparing the beer and the wine. You can't, that's not the same thing.
The price of the pants was too high for me, so I thought I would wait until the sales. With luck, they would be still here, and half-price. And it happened : the second day of the sales, I saw the only pants left on a display in the men section (I wonder why too). The only left, and it was my size. That was too many positive points : I took it.
The inconvenient of these pants, it's that you have to manage to combine them well. You can easily fall into a punkish clown style, and it's not nice. I love tartan print (I guess you already know it) but it has to be use with caution. So, I've opted to mix it with black and chic boyish touch. Creepers are definitely not the good shoes to match with these pants; the next time I'll wear heels or boots. It's when we make mistakes that we can improve !

I've found this sweat-shirt for 8 years old boys in a thrift store in Romania. I wore it as a pyjama's top, because I was often cold their.
What I find funny, it's that it was made in Canada : I wonder by which way it arrived in this little city of Romania, for finally being brought by me in France. It's something I like with second-hand clothes : they travel, come from afar, change their owners and are inhabited by their memory. And by all these random ways, they end up with you.

For which kind of prints do you have a crush ?

Chanson d'automne.

I love Verlaine, and I love the autumn.
Autumn is my favourite season. Autumn is sensorial.
There is the smell of the dead leaves and their fire colours. The smell of the firsts smoke coming from the chimneys, spread in the cold evening air. The knits so soft on our skins. The taste of the hot chocolate, the noise of the dry branches crackling under our feet. The vision of those birds migrating to African countries, and the light at the end of the day, blazing, goldish, eternal.
This is the period for poetry, writting, walking in the woods, drying flowers, making herbariums. The period where nature dies in a incomparable beauty. The wind is blowing, it's raining, melancoly, apaisement.
Autumn is orange, brown and red, as my outfit. When I bought this coat in the early september, I was hurry to arrive in this fantastic season to wear it. This coat has squares, it's my autumn's trend passion. I would wear tartan prints all the time if I had tartan pants. I also need over-knees to cover my legs when the cold weather will appears.
